”Heritage on the move” was born out of the UNA Europa transnational research team “Heritage, Global Migration and Mobility”. It brings together research and researchers from all across Europe to write, debate and cooperate on issues of mobility, movement, migration in heritage in a global context. Most of all, it aims to be an open space for thinking about what critical heritage can contribute to scholarly and societal discussions on mobility and migration. Employing a grassroots approach, it invites members of the research team to engage in a lively discussion on what critical heritage is, how heritage can be understood, protected and experienced, and how their ongoing research can inform international and global conversations about mobile and migrant heritages.
